Samantha graduated from Mount Washington College in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Upon graduation, she accepted employment with the NH Public Defender’s Office as a Legal Assistant. In this position, Samantha learned about Criminal Defense Investigators and their important role as a member of the defense team.
In 2016, Samantha accepted a position as an Investigator with NHPD. During her nine years there as an Investigator, she carried a felony heavy case load and worked on several homicide cases. Samantha also handled Misdemeanor cases and Juvenile cases, including Juvenile Certification cases. Samantha was also a member of NHPD’s Youth Law Practice Group.
Samantha has worked several types of homicide cases as the Lead Investigator, including Capital Murder, First Degree Murder, Second Degree Murder, Manslaughter, Death Resulting, and Negligent Homicide. She has also handled serious felony cases including Armed Career Criminal, Attempted Murder, Aggravated Felonious Sexual Assault, First & Second Degree Assault, Armed Robbery and Drug cases.
Samantha frequently trained new Investigators and previously assisted in training new lawyers about how to best utilize Investigators. She also regularly mentored Interns.
Samantha is a NH Notary Public as well as a Justice of the Peace.
